Summary:
As an AmeriGas Service Tech you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and removing of large propane tanks at permanent or temporary locations. A Service Tech drives a flat bed truck with a crane and boom to deliver tanks.
Responsibilities include:
Drive a flat bed truck to deliver, install and remove large tanks
Operate a crane and dolly to maneuver tanks
Perform all installations and removals of tanks
Find and repair leaks at customer sites
Deliver, pick up and repair customer storage cages
Operate a trencher to run gas lines
Assist with sanding and painting of tanks

For properties that do not have an on-site chief engineer, the senior engineer will act as the senior, on site, engineering personnel. In those instances, the senior engineer will assist the manager - portfolio engineering in the efficient and effective operation of the property, per established Equity Office guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Provide management for engineering staff, per the direction of the chief engineer or manager - portfolio engineering, as applicable. Conducting and monitoring performance measurement and management review process, as applicable.
Perform engineering maintenance analysis and repair activities, as required. Provide hands-on and classroom training for engineering staff, promote an environment of learning and development for the engineering staff.
Ensure that preventative maintenance activities are performed as directed. Use Angus Anywhere preventative maintenance program to optimize staffing and to promote sharing of resources between Equity Office properties.- Use Angus tenant request system to troubleshoot recurring problems and to increase tenant comfort. - Collaborate with regional and corporate staff for the execution of strategic engineering related initiatives.- Administer applicable safety and environmental programs, including training and re-certification programs.- Promote engineering best practices and champion continuous improvement for all engineering related matters.- Assist chief engineer or manager – portfolio engineering as directed.- Support the leasing effort as needed.- Collaborates with property management team to address customer relation issues. Uses Angus tenant request data to minimize the overall number of tenant request work orders and recurring work orders.
